Principal’s Message

Dear ACS Families,

I want to express my gratitude for the warm welcome you have given me in the short time I have been at ACS. It has been an amazing experience to meet and engage with your children daily, and our families have been immensely supportive of my arrival. I feel incredibly fortunate to be the principal of this special community. 

As I shared in the most recent open meeting with the HSA on February 10th, there are a few key values which I carry with me daily as we work with and support your children:

• At ACS, we are committed to providing your child with a safe and caring community. This is a place of learning, but it is also a space where your child can be themselves, in a welcoming and warm environment. With this, we will consistently model kindness, empathy  and respect for your children as we teach them to do the same.

• At ACS, we are committed to providing your child with a rich academic experience, which takes into account the varying experiences, cultures and perspectives of the students which we serve. 

• At ACS, our goal is to ensure that your child is equipped with skills that will carry them to our middle, high school and beyond. We want your child to be critical thinkers, collaborators, problem solvers, and have the ability to see and understand multiple perspectives. These critical skills will serve them in all aspects of life, both personally and professionally. 

I am excited for the road ahead and the opportunity I have been given to lead our great school. I look forward to working with your children, alongside our phenomenal staff, and future opportunities to engage with our families.
