Principal's Message

Dear ACS Families,

It is with great pride and gratitude that I serve as principal of Anna C. Scott Elementary School. ACS is a vibrant and welcoming learning community where we are committed to meeting the diverse needs of every student through differentiated instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and a strong emphasis on creating a warm, safe, and inclusive environment where all children can thrive.

At ACS, we believe learning should be both engaging and joyful. Throughout the school day and across our school community, students have opportunities to explore new ideas, collaborate with others, take risks, and build confidence in themselves as learners. Through a student-centered approach, we strive to ensure that every child has a voice, feels seen and valued, and is empowered to take an active role in their learning.

Our dedicated staff works together to create a culture where students are challenged academically while also supported socially and emotionally. We celebrate curiosity, creativity, kindness, perseverance, and the joy that comes from learning together. We believe that when children feel safe, supported, and connected, they are better able to grow both as learners and as individuals.

Strong partnerships between school and home are an important part of our success. We value the relationships we build with our families and are committed to working together to support each child's growth, celebrate their successes, and ensure that every student feels a strong sense of belonging at ACS.
